Delightful and Unrefined

Rubber and Things I’ve Been Into Lately

Just so you know, there’s a new movie out now called “Rubber” that’s about a rogue tire that rolls around randomly exploding people’s brains. It’s playing at the Screenland.

Things I’ve been into lately:

— Sudoku - Am reading a book on how to become an advanced sudoku player. It kind of involves algebraic logic that’s giving me a flashback to the GRE exam. I’m an “art person,” we don’t apply logic to anything.

— Physical fitness - I took a UHHH 10 month hiatus from physical fitness. The result was that I gained GASP! 20 lbs, which would be fine except for the fact that I can hardly fit my ass into any of my clothes. I’m really cheap and don’t want to buy new clothes, so I begrudgingly accept that something radical needs to be done.

— Savannah, GA - I never get to travel, and so am super excited about an upcoming trip to Savannah. I’m obsessively researching potential activities, restaurants, coffee shops, etc, and planning outfits. Outfit planning is VERY IMPORTANT. I’ll also be taking a brief trip to Omaha, but given that it’s close and can be easily driven to, it doesn’t really count as “travel.”

— Tiny apartments - I somehow got on this YouTube loop of videos put out by “faircompanies” (an organization that promotes sustainable culture) about people who live in extremely, ridiculously tiny apartments. There are an infinite number of videos on this subject, and I can’t stop watching them. Fascinating! Clearly I have way too much stuff.

— Being blonde - Spontaneous desire to go totally blonde, even though my hair is naturally a faint shade below solid black. So maybe A LOT of highlights then? Is that a good compromise? I’ll consult with my stylist and hope to have an appointment by next week. I’ve also not had a haircut since December. Whoops. Kind of slipped my mind!
