I haven’t been on here in nearly a year. So much has happened in the meantime. I cannot possibly update my year, the year my life turned upside, that normalcy was snatched from under me, and I tried to find my way back to center.

I had envisioned this as a photo blog, but maybe that’s too restrictive. Maybe I should just do what I want. TALK ABOUT MYSELF - now there’s some good times. I love to talk about myself. 

Let me start off with today. It’s a day, you know. Not much going on. I went to work. I’m in recovery from a month-long ear infection in which my right ear drum burst and blood and freaky liquid was coming out of it in a dramatic fashion, and then I was deaf in that ear, and then I went on multiple rounds of antibiotics and some other stuff, and finally Saturday I was able to hear a little bit and then today a little bit better. Progress is a beautiful thing.

Anyways, yeah, let’s see how the blogging goes, and I will write some more soon. In the meantime, here’s a picture.

This is the house Pete lived in when he was in college in Pittsburg, KS. He said it didn’t look much different than this, save for the boarded up doors and windows.
